Beaujolais Nouveau 2012

The numerous visits made to our partners in Beaujolais have allowed us to confirm two things : the harvest is extremely small with an average loss of 50%. It's also a vintage of great quality.

Throughout the tastings we have remarked that the wines are well colored, fruity, soft and balanced.
This year the difference is less distinct between the Beaujolais villages and the Beaujolais Primeurs.

Style of the wines:
We could describe the 2012 Primeurs as being very approachable.
The aromatic character of this vintage is more towards red and black cherries. There is low acidity and a fine tannic structure.

This most probably indicates very good Crus wines for next year.
