Beaujolais nouveau 2017 - Latest situation

The weather in recent weeks has become milder with temperatures sometimes below normal seasonal averages with some rainy passages.
The vines have slowed their development and maturation is a little slower.
A few berries have started their veraison.
The health of the grapes, as well as the maturity, is fairly homogeneous. The bunches are pretty, with a good percentage of smaller, concentrated berries.
The harvest could be a little less abundant than expected, but perfectly normal.
At the current rate we can assume the harvest to begin, not at the end of August, but rather around the 4th of September.
