Vinous/Tanzer - Mâconnais 2014/2015

2015 Maison Joseph Drouhin Mâcon-Villages - 87 Points
Pale straw-yellow. Fresh apricot, flowers and a touch of steely minerality on the nose. Juicy, dry stone fruit flavors convey the ripeness of the year without any thickness or sloppiness of texture. Finishes firm and persistent, with a lemony note and sound acidity. -- Stephen Tanzer Drinking Window 2016 - 2017

2014 Maison Joseph Drouhin Saint-Véran - 88 Points
Bright yellow-straw. Apple, flowers and a touch of smoky minerality on the laid-back nose. Tactile, dry and saline in the mouth, with white peach, underripe pineapple and flint flavors given shape by a firm spine of stony minerality and acidity. A very solid basic Saint-Véran bottling with some life ahead of it. -- Stephen Tanzer Drinking Window 2016 - 2019

2014 Maison Joseph Drouhin Pouilly-Vinzelles - 89 Points
Pale, bright yellow. Aromas of peach, fresh hazelnut and spices. Rich and seamless in the mouth, with its smooth texture leavened by fresh acidity and saline minerality. This dry, peachy wine boasts lovely inner-mouth energy and is evolving slowly. Finishes ripe, smooth, dry and persistent, with repeating saline minerality. -- Stephen Tanzer Drinking Window 2017 - 2021

2014 Maison Joseph Drouhin Pouilly-Fuissé - 90 Points
Pale yellow. Ripe stone fruits and almond on the nose. A bit more reticent and mineral-driven than the Pouilly-Vinzelles, without quite that wine's sweetness and richness. Quite broad and deep in the mouth but with strong lemony acidity keeping it a bit disjointed in the early going. Finishes dry and firm, with a light touch and dusty minerality. Lovely juice. -- Stephen Tanzer Drinking Window 2018 - 2022
